Reprint from DAN # 18/19 It wasn't an ordinary day. We went to pick up Philipp, Silvio, Jerry, Manuel and Angy at the airport. It was September the 2nd and it was the day of the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame Concert in Cleveland. We met Dave Marsh and had a blast. We went to some Springsteen-meeting in a bar and I met a dorky old friend of mine. We really hadn't much to tell each other, but Marsh was great. He got me a ticket in the field. We stood in line for a while to get in and I found my place. All by myself I couldn't enjoy the show. Nobody to share the fun. Then Marsh came and had three tickets in the 20th row for my friends and me. I went to get them and we found our seats. It was in the middle of the journalists. By 9 p.m. I had the three boys down there too. Bruce was absolutely terrific. I loved every minute of the show. A couple of hours later Bruce got on stage again and said: "One of my favorites, Bob Dylan". I felt like the floor had been taken away. He was the greatest of the great! He walked on stage wearing a tasteless golden shirt and black trousers. Ugly and old but a legend after all. He began to sing and I felt like falling on my knees and pray! He was so intense, incredible, so wholesome and so wonderful I just couldn't believe it was only Dylan. My breathe was gone, my heart beated fast and I felt it. What everybody tried to tell me for years was standing right here on stage. I was stunned, I was past away. Bob Dylan reached my heard and my soul there and then. All I could do was stare and listen. I was lost in the legend of folkmusic when Bruce joined him for "Forever Young". I loved every moment of Bob Dylan, and since that show (only five songs) I am a believer. by Käthy Werder
