Gerald: For me it's was
the best Germany-concert. Maybe because he played 3 hours, but you could feel the fun and
pleasure all on stage had, especially Bruce. After he opened the show with a few standard
songs, he played the live world premiere "Take 'em as they come". A great live
version, no comparision to the tracks-version. After "The River" with a great
"C", comes one of the hightlights ontour "Youngstown". It becomes more
and more a powerful hymn of the EStreet-Band with a his great guitarist. Nils
plays his solo with such desire and great feeling , and in my opinion each time a
little bit longer. Bruce showed his whole acting abilites on 10th Ave-freeze out. After he
took off his shirt (he worked really hard on stage), he then stood with his white t-shirt
on stage to play "Working on the highway". Maybe the best live-version, I
ever heard. The first encore began much to my delight with Cadillac Ranch. A strong
version. While singing "Hungry Heart" Bruce ran from side to side, to reach all
people. And he did it. The second encore showed the past, the present and hopefully the
future. Thunder Road is the Estreet-song, and the arrangement of "If I
should fall behind"fits perfectly for the
rededication and reunion. And "Land of hope and dreams" hopefully makes our
dreams come true !!! Bruce and the Estreet-Band forever !! This reunion is the
best thing, what could happened to the Springsteenfans and to the members of Estreet-Band.
They still can play ! ""No surrender" Offenbach was a fantastic final
concert for me. Maybe they come back ??????

René: The show was great, the audience however less than
enthusiastic. People kept sitting even while Born To Run was played, much to Steven's
annoyment. Bruce war in great shape though, had a lot of fun ("I'm a sexmachine
- in my dreams", "I feel the ghost of Tom Jones"). "I'm On Fire"
had a slightly different arrangement, with Steve on guitar and Nils on pedal steel. Didn't
work for me, but I don't like it anyway.
